Consistency seems to be key in pretty much every aspect of one's life. One will search for the key to success for the entirety of their lives. Some will think that finessing is necessary to get ahead in life. Another will not know where to start, so they chase the same idea with the same non-result producing habits. Many will get stuck in the revolving door with time passing by, while they either don’t do anything with what they are given or decide to start and then give up when they aren’t seeing the results they desire.
The truth that can be hard to swallow is that there will be countless white-outs and torn out pages along your journey. You may have to revise that vision board or come up with a new plan. I once heard “there is no alternative to hard work.” Consistency is hard-work. I believe it is something that we as humans wrestle with. It can either be in a situation that is to our benefit or our downfall. Because relationships are a common factor in the lives of every human, I like to go back to the basics. So many people struggle with being consistent in their commitments, practices, etc. A lot of people don’t want to put in the work to make something successful or allow it to be successful. We live in a society that flourishes off instant gratification. However, is it really benefiting you in the long run? This has created a mindset of NOW, but what about later. Also, what you are wanting right now if you build a solid foundation will be around later. We have all seen people who were good one moment, then struggling the next. There is wealthy vs. rich. There is joy vs. happiness. There is love vs. infatuation. I don’t know about you all, but I would take the one that may not come easy and may take a while. One can fade away in an instant, and this same concept pertains to popularity.
