"I think I'm ready for love." Ultimately, we tend to lead ourselves out of love through unhealthy habits and our wanting of being desired. We keep love in our back pocket when we get bored or lonely. We fail to realize that love is and should be an ever-present reality. We are loved. Coming into my 20's, I've realized that as humans, no matter your race, background, or gender, we all crave love and connection. We want to be wanted and know that we matter and are seen in this world. We seek connections that are temporary to fill a void that is already filled. We grab ahold of love while we have the chance, because we think it may never come again. We think that we don't deserve a healthy, genuine connection.
